About a decade ago, inspired by the fourth wave in the history chapters of coffee, a group fanatics set out on an expedition deep into the south-western parts of the Ethiopian highlands, the origin of the Coffea Arabica species.
Mission: Discover the birthplace of the world-famous Gesha Varietal.
Final Destination: The wild coffee forests in the heart of the one-and-only Gorigesha mountain, a.k.a. the Garden of Eden to the magical coffee beans known as Gesha.
Fast forward today: Flourishing with pure nature, protecting and conserving the delicate ecosystem, full of the ancient great grandmother trees, surrounded by their grandchildren, lies the Gorigesha Mountain Coffee Plantation. A story yet to be told and a place yet to be visited for generations of coffee lovers yet to come….
